Earth Day Grounding Rituals

People need to be grounded and as life gets fast and hard, being grounded can help to keep you strong. Earth Day is a great time for you to remember to make sure that you are grounded and that you are loving nature. Take time to go outside and smell the flowers.

Moving Outside

This is one of the best times of the year to ground yourself with nature. You can look at the flowers, garden, connect with the Earth and make sure that you listen to the outdoor sounds. Doing these things can help you to have a better mood.

You don’t have to plan a trip outside, just go outside like you normally would and get some fresh air. Go for a walk down the road or go to the park and listen to the birds singing.

Digging

One of the best ways to connect with nature is through gardening. Plant some new flowers or plants. Even if you have never planted a garden before, you can do this even as a beginner. If you live in an apartment, find a pot, and do some gardening from your window sill.

Dieting

Instead of always eating processed foods, one way that you can connect with nature is by what you put into your diet. Eat some veggies and fruits that come from a garden, and you can be more connected.

Pet an Animal

Animals are one way to connect with nature. Do you have a dog or a cat? If you do, spend time with them. If you don’t though, you can go out and volunteer at an animal shelter.

Not all animals are going to be able to be held or petted and you can go outside and just watch animals to connect with them. Watch the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and other animals around your neighborhood. If you want animals to show up more, hang a feeder or a birdhouse.

Crystals

Crystals have many properties for healing and for other great things. Crystals are part of the earth and if you want to have strong self-care, using crystals in your daily routine can help you. Put stones on different parts of your body in order to feel stronger. You can also use face washes and bath soaks that have crystals added to them.

Become Part of the Earth

There are ways that you can become part of the Earth. Do this by looking at the rhythm of the earth. There are different proteins that go into your cells at night and then they leave the body during the day. These are things that happen to your body naturally. This makes you part of the Earth without you having to even do anything.

Keep Your Chakras Strong

Your chakras are part of your energy centers, and they help you to be focused and to be balanced. Focus on your root chakra during Earth Day and allow your body to center itself. As you meditate and balance your chakras, imagine that you have light running through your body.

You can try and do some yoga and other things that help you to feel stronger in your mind, body, and soul.

Love the World Around You

As the days get longer and you begin to connect to the Earth, embrace your time. Allow yourself to spend time outside and connect with nature. Feel grounded by playing in the dirt, walking in the sand, or going barefoot in the grass. You can even sit under a tree and read a book.

Your mind, body and soul will become stronger as you allow yourself to connect with the nature around you. Enjoy Earth Day and let it fill your life with peace and joy.
